A backup generator is only useful if it starts the one time you actually need it, and stale fuel sitting in the carburetor over the summer is the most common reason it doesn't. We clean carbs, service oil and valves, and load-test the unit so you know it'll actually hold power under a real load, not just idle in the driveway.
We work on the portable generators people in Utah County actually own (Honda, Generac, Champion, Predator, Westinghouse), whether it's backup power for the house, a job site unit, or one that mostly comes out for camping season.
Drop it off at our shop for a $49 Initial Diagnostic Inspection (first 30 minutes, charged either way), and we'll have it back to you the same weekend in most cases. We serve Saratoga Springs, Lehi, Eagle Mountain, and the rest of Utah County on our regular Saturday-Sunday schedule.

What to expect
An Initial Diagnostic Inspection is $49 and covers the first 30 minutes, charged whether or not you move forward with the repair. Most carb cleanings and oil/valve service jobs are billed at our $85/hr shop rate plus parts, and we'll get your OK before continuing if it needs more diagnostic time.
Weekend Service
Drop it off at our shop and we'll get it running. Saturdays and Sundays, so it fits around your week.

Why won't my generator start after sitting all summer?
Almost always stale fuel gumming up the carburetor. We clean the carb, check the fuel lines, and run it under load before handing it back so you know it actually works, not just starts.

Yes. Starting is one thing; holding power under an actual load is another. We test it so you're not finding out it can't keep up during an outage.
