Terms of Service

By authorizing repairs or leaving equipment with Wasatch Repair, you agree to the following Terms of Service.

Authorization

You authorize Wasatch Repair to inspect, diagnose, repair, and test your equipment as necessary. Work exceeding the approved estimate will not be performed without your authorization, except where reasonably necessary for safety or as permitted by law.

Estimates & diagnostic fees

Estimates are based on the conditions visible at inspection and may change if hidden damage or additional issues are found; we'll contact you for approval before exceeding an approved estimate. Diagnostic and inspection fees may apply whether or not repairs are approved.

Parts & parts pricing

Parts are quoted at manufacturer (OEM) list prices. Unless you ask for OEM-only parts in writing, you authorize Wasatch Repair to source and use comparable aftermarket, quality reconditioned, or used parts at our discretion, and the quoted price stands even when a lower-cost part is used. Special-order parts may require a deposit and are generally non-refundable once ordered.

Payment

Payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing. Equipment will not be released until all repair, diagnostic, storage, tax, and other applicable charges are paid in full.

Pickup, storage & unclaimed equipment

Please pick up equipment within 30 days of notice that repairs are complete. A storage fee of $10.00 per day may apply after 30 days. Unclaimed equipment may be subject to storage charges, mechanic's lien rights, and other remedies available under Utah law.

Warranty

Wasatch Repairwarrants its workmanship for 90 days from the date of repair. Parts are covered only by the manufacturer's warranty, if any. This warranty does not cover normal wear, abuse, neglect, improper maintenance, stale or contaminated fuel, water damage, customer modifications, or work performed by others after our service.

Testing

You authorize us to start, operate, and test your equipment as reasonably necessary to diagnose problems and verify repairs.

On-site (mobile) service & your property

Because we come to you, some work happens on your property, such as your driveway, garage, or yard. Engine and equipment work involves fuel, oil, and other fluids, and minor drips, spills, or marks can happen even with careful work, especially on porous surfaces like concrete or asphalt. We take reasonable care and clean up reasonable spills, but you acknowledge that Wasatch Repair is not responsible for pre-existing conditions or for incidental staining or marks that are a normal part of this kind of work. You choose and approve the work location and confirm it is suitable; if you prefer, ask us to work over a mat or in a spot where minor drips are not a concern. You are responsible for pointing out any sprinklers, wiring, pipes, or hazards at the work area that are not plainly visible.

Your responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate contact information, remove personal items before drop-off, maintain your equipment after service, use clean fuel and proper lubricants, and pick up completed equipment promptly. Wasatch Repair is not responsible for personal items left with the equipment.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Utah law, Wasatch Repair's liability is limited to the amount paid for the repair giving rise to the claim. Wasatch Repair is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including loss of use, lost profits, or business interruption.

Applicable law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah. Wasatch Repairreserves all rights and remedies available under Utah law, including mechanic's lien rights and the lawful recovery of unpaid repair and storage charges.

I certify that I am the owner of the equipment or have authority to authorize these repairs. I have read and agree to these Terms of Service and authorize Wasatch Repair to perform the requested services.
